The Red Rose Dinner - Friday 3rd November 2006

The Red Rose Dinner 2006 will be a formal event, with jewels of office worn where applicable, on Friday 3rd November 2006 7:30 p.m. for sitting down at 8:00 p.m.

We have engaged close-up, sleight of hand, magicians to entertain members before the meal and also during the intermission before the speakers, so there is no reason to arrive at the last minute.

We have also arranged a top class after dinner comedian, Mike Farrel, whose is described as "a traditional stand up comedian from Yorkshire who rates among the top after-dinner comedians on the circuit. He is perfect for Rotary and Round Table dinners where he can tailor his material to suit the audience". (I guess this probably includes 41 Club!). We have had Mike speak at a previous Darwen 41 Club event and he is very funny.

Darwen 41 Club is committed to making this event a night to remember both for an excellent meal, good entertainment, value for money and all round quality. If you don’t take the opportunity to book early you may find the 100 capacity has been sold out, it will also help and encourage the organisers if you book early.
